Terms and Conditions

A non-refundable deposit, minimum £25.00 (or full amount if less), is payable on booking with the balance due on arrival. 

There will be a surcharge of 5% for using credit card for payment.  No charge for debit card.

In the event of a cancellation, you are liable by law to pay up to two thirds of the full amount of the booking. We therefore advise that insurance cover is obtained and enclose Holiday Cancellation Insurance details. e.g. 66% of the total cost up to 7 days before date of arrival. Total cost of the booking if cancelled within 7 days of arrival. (In the event that we subsequently re-let the room/s for the dates booked, the cost less the deposit will be refunded.

All prices are subject to variation. We will only hold rooms without deposit for 36 hours. No reductions are made for meals not taken or for early departure.

Rooms will be available from 2 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 10 am on the day of departure or charges may be incurred. Guests are liable for any damage incurred during their stay.

Dogs are welcome in Family Room 3 ONLY and only by prior arrangement. Owners must bring their animals bedding and not allow them on the furniture. Dogs should not be left alone in the rooms during the day (other than at mealtimes) and owners will be liable for any damage caused by their pets. Dogs are not allowed in public areas within the Guest House.

The Proprietors cannot be held responsible for valuables left in the bedrooms. Cars are left in the car park at their owners‚ risk. The proprietors reserve the right to ask Guests to leave with immediate effect in the event of rowdy behaviour likely to upset the comfort of other Guests.

We are a no smoking establishment and anyone found smoking within The Guest House will, in the first instance, be politely asked to refrain and if this request is ignored, will be asked to vacate with immediate effect.
